Ubuntu කියන්නේ ආධුනිකයෙක්ට ලිනක්ස් වලට පිවිසෙන්න පාවිච්චි කරන්න පුළුවන් හොඳම ලිනක්ස් මෙහෙයුම් පද්ධතිය කියලයි මම හිතන්නේ. පරිශීලකයාට මිත්‍රශීලී පරිසරයක් සතු වීම, බොහෝ පරිගනක සමග සාර්ථකව ක්‍රියාත්මක වීම, මෘදුකාංග විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් මෙයට සහය දැක්වීම වගේ ගොඩක් දේවල් මෙයට හේතු වෙනව.
අපේ ගොඩක් අය අවුරුදු ගානක් වින්ඩෝස් පාවිච්චි කර කර ඉඳල ඔන්න Ubuntu වගේ දාලා ලිනක්ස් ඉගනගන්න හදනවා කියමුකෝ. දැන් ඉතින් එක කන්දොස්කිරියාවයි. සිංදු අහන්න බෑලූ, වීඩියෝ වැඩ කරන්නෙ නෑලූ, මේකට compiz දාලා දෙන්නලූ. ඔන්න ඒකට විසඳුම තමයි Super Ubuntu 8.10 කියන්නේ. මේකේ Ubuntu CD එකේ මූලිකව දාලා එවන මෘදුකාංග වලට අමතරව මේ දේවල් අඩංගු වෙනවා.
- Ubuntu + GIMP 2.6.3 + OpenOffice.org 3 + Firefox 3.0.4 සඳහා වූ සියළු updates
- MPlayer සහ VLC, DVD-ධාවනය , MP3 සහය හා අනෙකුත් codecs.
- aMSN, aMule, Adobe Flash player සහ Opera
- Java RE, Microsoft Office 2007 file format සහය දැක්වීම.
- compizconfig-settings-manager (Compiz), Gufw (Uncomplicated firewall), ndisgtk (NDISwrapper) සහ padevchooser (PulseAudio) යන අතුරුමුහුනත් පාලන මෘදුකාංග.
- Adobe Reader, EnvyNG, Furius ISO Mount, GParted, NDISwrapper, Ubuntu Tweak and StartUp-Manager යන utility මෘදුකාංග.
- අමතර repositories.
මෙතනින් බාගන්න පුළුවනි.
මේක Super Star වගේ බොරු ෂෝ එකක් නෙමෙයි. නම වගේම වැඩත් තියනවා.

ReplyDeleteදෙන්නම්කෝ ඇස්ටි හැලෙන්න. 20 වෙනිදට දෙන්න algorithem assignment එකකුත් තියනවා. තාම කරන හැටි අදහසකුත් නෑ. කරන්නත් ඕන. ඒත් ඉතින් FOSS අතේ වැඩ නොකර බෑනේ.

මෙය Ubuntu ව්‍යපෘතියක් නෙමේ.
අනික මෙම සටහනේ දක්වා ඇති කොටස් Mint වල වැඩ කරනවාද කියා පළමුව විමසන්න.

ReplyDeleteනෑ මේක Ubuntu නම් හොරෙන් අරන් නෑ. මේකෙ නම් Super Ubuntu මිසක් Ubuntu 9.04 වගේ Ubuntu official version එකක් නෙමෙයි. ඒ කියන්නෙ colonincal සමාගමෙන් නිකුත් කරන එකක් නෙමෙයි. මේ විදිහට Ubuntu සංස්කරණය කරල නිකුත් කරන්න Ubuntu Licence එකේ අවසර දීල තියනවා.

Your question is very hard to reply to...
First of all: What defines if something is legal (or not) is the law of your country (which I do not know)
Let me explain the problems with some software included in Super Ubuntu:
-libdvdcss -> Is illegal in the USA under the DMCA law IF you use it to copy/play pirated DVDs (if the DVDs are legal then it is probably legal to use it, under "fair-use") - Probaly legal on most countries
-Adobe Reader and Real Player -> The licenses do not allow distribution. This should not really be a problem for you: worst case scenario I would get an email from Adobe/Real asking me to stop offering that in my distro. I don't think this is a great "offense", even less for you, as a simple user. (they forbid distribution mainly so that people can't distribute their products and include virus in them)
-MP3 codecs/other codecs: Protected by software patents, using software like this is illegal in the USA and other countries with software patents - is it legal in most countries
-Microsoft fonts: I am not sure if MS allows their distribution - They use to allow distribution of that, so this must not be a "big offense"
-Linux kernel/etc: Microsoft claims "Linux" infringes their software patents - this as yet to be proved, and if that was the case, even Ubuntu was not 100% legal - but this is not really an issue... (it is more FUD than anything else) - Legal in most countries (if the country does not have software patents)
So... is this legal? Maybe not 100%, but I think as a user you are OK, since this does not includes pirated software, etc...
But please, I'm not a lawyer! I take no responsability for your use of the software.
